Hannah Raynor
Hannah Raynor
Hannah Raynor is a professional dancer and actor with experience in TV, Film and Theatre.
She trained to be a performer, then became a wheelchair user in 2011 and has adapted her skills to performing in her chair and has been working professionally for over 10 years now.
Hannah trained in a variety of classical and modern dance styles and specialises in Commercial and Contemporary. Although dancing in a chair, she doesn't classify this as her style as she sees the chair as her legs. She is proficient at adapting choreography to her chair and is an expressive performer with a keen focus on technique and storytelling.
Highlights include performing on Strictly Come Dancing and the Wicked Movie.
With a background in Theatre and Street Theatre, Hannah has continued her passion for acting and dived into the world of screen and appeared in programmes such as BBC Casualty and Doctors.
As Nessarose's Stand In on the Wicked films, Hannah was on set most days and is very used to working on Film / TV sets.
Equal access to working professionally in the entertainment industry and authentic representation are key factors in Hannah's practice as a performer.
She has worked with companies such as Matthew Bourne's New Adventures to make thier spaces more inlcusive for professional dancers with disabilities as well as teaching disabled performers skills for adapting choreography and technique. She is also constantly working with her agent to improve access to dance studios.
Hannah has experience shooting commercials and stills for companies including Carers UK. And is very comfortable in front of a camera, especially with her dance experience.
Voicing the main character in David Baddiel's 'The Taylor Turbochaser' was one of Hannah's highlights as a voice artist. It worked perfrectly as Hannah has a young, warm tone to her voice. But she is also able to create other creative and characterful voices too.
Hannah has experience of presenting as well as reading from an auto-cue. Her bubbliness and warmth are great for presenting as well as being interviewed herself. She recently appeared on Channel 4's Eat Smart: Secrets of the Glucose Goddess.
